Creative problem solving that requires deep focus and first principles thinking is my thing. It’s not so much about the medium or tools, as the finished product and the problem it solves for the user. This is what drives me to be continuously learning and improving my skills, focused on clean, performant, and maintainable code.

I’ve always felt drawn to both the arts and sciences. Two of my favorite computer programs as a kid were Turbo Pascal and Caligari trueSpace. These were my magical tools for creating things like text-based adventure games and 3D animated robot battle scenes. My education and career path have spanned the traditional arts, graphic design, 3D animation, video production, and now software engineering. My accumulated skills feel right at home and fully engaged as a frontend focused full stack engineer.

My most proficient languages are Javascript and C# with experience developing single page and isomorphic web and mobile apps using React, Angular, Mithril, Stencil, Svelte, Meteor, React Native, and .Net Core. I’m always ready to pick up whatever tool is best to get the job done.
